Brenda is running a charity shop, with the slightly addled Prue and sight-impaired Denny. However changes are afoot as John Turk (The new CEO) is keen on a new image - younger staff. How will Brenda cope with her customers, a community service offender and the new regime.
Volunteers was written by Hilary Mackelden. Hilary lives in Sussex where she writes stage plays and pantomimes. As Caitlyn Callery, she writes Regency Romances
Her Regency Romance “Viscount in Hiding” was released in April 2023 by Wild Rose Press. A second novel “A Betrothal Agreement” will be released later this year.
