A New Chapter in MAD Theatre - 'MAD Murder Mysteries' is an exciting new branch of Meeching Amateur Dramatics, dedicated entirely to delivering live, interactive murder‑mystery evening entertainment. This focuses on original, fast‑paced, character‑driven mystery events that blend scripted storytelling with spontaneous audience interaction, creating a unique theatrical experience every time. Each murder mystery is written, developed, and performed by our own members, drawing on the group’s long-standing love of comedy, suspence and dramatic intrigue. These productions will typically form one of MAD’s three annual shows, subject to scheduling, and are designed to offer something completely different from our traditional stage plays. The sub‑section launched in 2026 with the hugely successful debut production ‘Dial M for MAD’s Murder Mystery’, performed at our home venue, The Ship Hotel, Newhaven.
